Jim Tunney honoured by colleagues in Senate today

Former senator Jim Tunney, who died earlier tin September 2010, will be honoured by his fellow politicians at 2 p.m., today.

Kevin McCloud, Usher of the Black Rod, confirmed the event this morning. There are few details, but he was able to say Tunney’s colleagues in the Senate will be paying tribute to the Grafton-area farmer who died in September 2010. He served for just over one year between 2001-2002.
