Today is expected to be the hottest day of the heat wave. Environment Canada predicts the temperature to be approximately 34 degrees with the humidex at around 43.
The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario has suspended the license of a dentist practicing in Cobourg, who has been charged with sexual assault. Sunilkumar Patel was charged last week in an alleged June incident at the Northumberland Dental Clinic.
A Port Hope man is charged with intimate partner violence for an alleged incident on Sunday.
