The Alderville First Nation is hosting its annual powwow this weekend. The theme for this year’s event is “Honouring Our Woodland Spirit.” Saturday night will feature a live drum contest with dancers showcasing woodland-designed regalia.
Ontario Health Team of Northumberland says it has attached approximately 550 local residents with a primary health care provider.
The Northumberland Land Trust has an agreement in principle to acquire a large parcel of land overlooking Rice Lake.
