A Cobourg man is facing charges in an alleged historic sexual assault. Police opened their investigation late last month, as the assault occurred in 2023.
The YMCA Northumberland and McDonald’s restaurants across the county are teaming up for McHappy Day.
In Cobourg, proceeds from the Port Hope and Cobourg McDonald’s locations will support the development of a large outdoor climbing tower at the Cobourg YMCA. Proceeds from the Brighton and Campbellford McDonald’s locations will enhance camp programming, including
providing Brighton kids with a roster of enriching day trips and new activities. In Campbellford, funds will support a new, welcoming outdoor pavilion that will serve as a creative hub and shelter throughout the season.
With Spring in the air, paddlers are putting the final touches on their watercraft ahead of Saturday’s Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny.
