Finding a solution to affordable housing is top of mind for many. Recently, one small group has stepped out of the shadows to shine a light on tiny homes.
The group is called Tiny Homes Northumberland. It hopes to create a resource for people wanting to build affordable housing in their backyard and other smaller chunks of property. Monika Turner, chair of Tiny Homes Northumberland, and Jeff Wheeldon, a Member of the Board, will explain how homeowners’ and investors’ demand for smaller dwellings could be a solution to giving people a place to live. Oh, and by the way, we are not talking about sleeping cabins for homeless people. These are something completely different. Have a listen.
