Cobourg’s new Police Chief Chris Leather, although only on the job for a week, says he will listen to feedback from police, the community, and others before formulating a plan on policing in the community.
The Chair of Trent Hills Pride has unexpectedly resigned from the Board of Directors. In a statement by the group, Emilio Ojeda resigned late last month for personal reasons.
Northumberland OPP’s Marine Unit is continuing active patrols on Rice Lake and surrounding waterways throughout the boating season.
Today is National Lawn Bowls Day in Canada and the Cobourg Lawn Bowling Club at Victoria Park is holding their Open House today.
