Despite the rainy, wet, and cold conditions, many children and youth tried to hook the biggest fish at a long-running derby in Northumberland County, May 2 and 3.
Northumberland County is susceptible to human trafficking of girls as young as 11 years old, due to its proximity to Highway 401.

It is unknown when the new Golden Plough Lodge long-term care home will open, due to delays in obtaining provincial inspection sign-offs.
