There is a great interest by the community in the battle between Citizens for Alternative Solutions and the Northumberland Hills Hospital Board. Alternative Solutions wants to work with the board to save money and preserve key services, while the board wants little to do with the group. Meanwhile the Ontario Health Coalition (Northumberland Chapter) is also opposing recent cuts to the hospital. Here is a presentation made by Alternative Solutions on June 9 at a special board meeting.
