A rebranding effort is underway in Brighton, as the municipal council has agreed on a new logo, aiming to modernize its visual identity.
Staff commissioned two logos to be considered, which would refresh, unify, and be authentic, yet honour the local landmarks, history, and beauty of the region.
The purpose of the rebrand is to support economic and community development by attracting new businesses and residents to the Brighton area.
It was clear from the outset which logo most councillors supported, as they tried to distinguish it from other communities.
Both logos feature Brighton’s iconic lakefront lighthouse as the central theme of the rebrand.
