Trent Hills Pride is launching a program later this month in Campbellford to promote more inclusivity within the 2SLGBTQ2+ community.
In partnership with the United Way Northumberland, the Kaleidoscope Program will offer 12 one-week seminars on identity, creativity, and wellness in visual and performing arts.
Emilio Ojeda, chairperson of Trent Hills Pride, says the workshops will empower participants by creating inclusive spaces for learning, creative expression, mental wellness, and community building, while addressing social isolation, discrimination, and limited access to supportive resources.
The first session is January 13 at the Campbellford Library.
