Northumberland OPP Sgt. Brandon Malcolm was laid to rest Wednesday, following a private ceremony at the Cobourg Community Centre.
It is unknown when the new Golden Plough Lodge long-term care will open, as there are delays with provincial inspections.
Three new ambulances for Northumberland County could cost approximately $875,000.
