After Labour Day, municipal election campaigns across Northumberland County will take off in earnest.
Sometimes it helps to reflect on the promises and vision of incumbent candidates. It’s a kind of performance review, if you like. So, let’s begin this week.
In this interview, you can hear from Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland. I did these interviews in 2022, when both were first-time candidates running for mayor.
In the last election, I interviewed only mayoral candidates. I have one for Olena Hankivsky and Angela Grogan because they ran for mayor last time. That means I do not have any interviews with the other people running for mayor this time. This election, I am teaming up with Northumberland 89.7 FM to provide better coverage.
