Piccini explains local impact of massive financial aid plan from Ontario government

The Ontario government announced a record spending package to address the pandemic on March 26. Finance Minister Rod Phillips said Wednesday the province will spend an additional $17 billion to help stem the tide on the impact of COVID-19 on the health care system, the economy, and people.

To help us understand the details of this financial package and its impact on Northumberland, I spoke to Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini online earlier this week. Just a warning, he was in an open room and you may hear some background noise and a dog bark.
