Registration is now open for a kids’ fun swim-and-run race.
The Northumberland YMCA is hosting its 18th annual duathlon in Campbellford and Cobourg, seeking to raise $10,000 to support two fundamental YMCA programs.
Kathryn Harrison, Director of Marketing and Philanthropy and Rod Simpson, volunteer at the Y say a portion of the funds will go towards supporting mothers and newborns in Cobourg. In Campbellford, the funds will help to construct an outdoor pavilion.
That race is Thursday, Aug. 13, and at the Cobourg Waterfront and Centennial Pool a week later. Registration is $18.
