Electric vehicle enthusiasts are gathering this weekend in Cobourg to highlight that electrification of transportation is not only great for the environment, but that many EVs are increasingly attractive as an alternative to gas-powered vehicles.
Event organizer David Kuhnke says battery and performance technology are improving significantly, while the availability of charging stations across Ontario, especially in northern communities, is a challenge to advancing the movement.
Kuhnke, other owners, and dealers will be available on Sunday to dispel myths about EVs.
