It’s party time as Andrew the Donkey turns 50.
Andrew, a mini-donkey at the PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary north of Cobourg, came to the sanctuary approximately 10-12 years ago, along with another donkey named Christopher.
Sheila Burns says Andrew was in rough shape, suffering from malnutrition, when he was rescued. However, he made a quick recovery and is now thriving.
Andrew is described as an old donkey who favors the ladies on the farm.
