
Immigration is a hot topic these days. Changes to the system were announced in the recent federal budget. Before the budget was released, the federal government said it was reducing the number of new permanent residents in 2025. Plus, there are reductions in the number of temporary foreign workers and international students.

He shares insights on the number of foreign workers being brought in from outside the county to fill jobs in local businesses and industry. They say they cannot find people otherwise. Plus, he will explain how settlement services help newcomers to the community.
