Former Truth and Reconciliation Commission chair, Murray Sinclair, died recently.
Alderville First Nations Chief Taynar Simpson reflects on the legacy of Murray Sinclair’s contribution to Indigenous people in Alderville and across the country. Simpson worked on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission when Sinclair was the chair.
Simpson will also reflect on the recent vote by the Assembly of First Nations to reject a $48.7 billion child welfare deal. He will look inside the debate and give his own position on this significant decision.
