The resolution of a high-profile case involving a Port Hope elementary school teacher is scheduled to take place in a Peterborough court in November.
The teacher, who was arrested in August 2024 and charged with 18 sex crimes involving minors, is expected to enter a guilty plea.
The accused was expected to enter a plea earlier this year, but the plea was delayed. A defense attorney confirmed in a Cobourg court on Wednesday morning that a plea will be entered.
She has been on leave from her job as a Grade 8 teacher since her arrest. The name of the accused is protected under a publication ban.
