Garden Hill is a tiny hamlet north of Port Hope, nestled in a rural area and surrounded by farms and natural beauty. A developer is proposing to build 31 luxury estate homes and an apartment. Some neighbours are concerned about the plans.
In this interview, you will meet two representatives from the Garden Hill Neighbourhood Group. Both are qualified experts. Glenn Deeth and Kevin Killin will explain some of the group’s concerns. Glenn will talk about a presentation he gave to Northumberland County council on the subdivision. Kevin will talk about plans to try to save a historic dam at Garden Hill pond.
