Biography:
Please allow me to introduce myself. I grew up in Welcome Corners. With a large family and a small farm, for years we turned out great fruit and vegetables from the land. When it was time to get an education I moved on to what is now known as Fleming College. There I graduated second or third from the top of my class. Since then I have had the benefit of working in many different environments from manager to subordinate. In the last 30 years I have been on at least 40 volunteer committees and groups across Canada. I once convinced over 100 fellow employees, 1\3 of our workforce, to climb the CN Tower stairs with me to raise money for charity. I have become a 5-year volunteer where I like to contribute as much as possible to an organization for 5 years and then make room for New Blood. I am very comfortable expressing my opinion and working with any group. From barbecuing for a team that cleaned up the waterfront to packing and moving a museum in the freezing cold. Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m a dedicated hard working team player used to working for a common goal. My reason for entering the 2022 campaign is to become your ward one councillor, and to include more voices before important decisions are made for the brightest future of our community.
