This week the series of interviews with the mayoral candidates running for office across Northumberland County continues. I will not be interviewing deputy mayor or council candidates. In this interview, Gilchrist, a former MPP in the Mike Harris government, talks about his political experience and family’s history in the township. He explains his thoughts on the Lakeport Beach subdivision, protecting farmland and natural spaces, in addition to property taxes.
