Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do is devoted to helping you understand my process as a journalist. It is a feature I will put at the bottom of certain stories where I might deviate from normal journalism practices or processes. It is meant to provide insight. Not everything I do is random. In fact, many times journalists make deliberate, considered decisions in producing stories. I hope this helps.
